A Life-Changing Semester in London 🇬🇧✨
September 16, 2025by: Meredith Schmoyer - United StatesProgram: USAC England: London - Undergraduate and Graduate CoursesStudying abroad in London with USAC was an incredible experience! The program made it easy to adjust, and the staff was always supportive and welcoming. I loved exploring the city, meeting new friends, and learning in such a vibrant environment. It was truly a life-changing opportunity that I’ll always be grateful for!

Not enough immersion
September 13, 2025by: Nicole Klosterman - United StatesProgram: USAC Costa Rica: Heredia - Latin American Studies & EcologyIf you are someone who has never been outside the program or doesn’t speak Spanish, this program would probably be great for you. However, if you want full immersion you will not receive that through USAC. They don’t tell you that your classes will have zero locals which means you have to go out of your way to make local friends.
Amazing experience
September 13, 2025by: Nicholas Fitch - United StatesProgram: USAC Australia: Gold Coast/Brisbane - Undergraduate CoursesI traveled to Australia for a study abroad semester through USAC, and I had an excellent experience. I had the opportunity to meet many locals as well as other international students. I attended Griffith University, and the classes were fairly easy to immerse myself in as an international student. The area I was in, which was Gold Coast, Australia, was very walker-friendly and had good public transportation, and everything else went fairly smoothly. Since USAC is independent from my home university, it was a little difficult configuring my class schedule and numerous documents, but other than that it's smooth sailing.

When I was younger my family and I moved a lot, however I had never been outside the U.S. When I was getting ready to apply for colleges, my high school had provided information on studying abroad which sparked my interest, so when choosing a college I made sure my school had a study abroad program. I was always interested in learning about new cultures and different languages, so studying abroad to me always seemed like a great way to learn about both and immerse yourself in a foreign country.
