I was able to learn a language in a country that primarily speaks the language while also being able to grow on a personal level. What an amazing director! Remember to pack light.

I loved my host mom and miss her so much! I was dealing with the passing of a close family member before I left for this trip and I think this helped me not wallow in grief since I had to keep up and get up every morning. I got to see a lot of beautiful things and connect with myself on this trip. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to do that.

July 29, 2024by: Sabreen JadaProgram: Arcos Learning Abroad in Santiago de Compostela, SpainI thoroughly enjoyed being able to be fully immersed in Spanish culture, and having the opportunity to learn from professors at Universidad de Santiago. Overall, I had a enriching experience that I would go on again if given the option. I enjoyed my homestay, which was full Spanish immersion (no English). I would advise future students to make the most of the program.
