My IVHQ coordinator was very punctual and informative when answering my email and questions. Thailand was the first asian country I ever travelled to and I really loved the country, I was never home sick. The locals I met and the other volunteers were all kind and fun to be around. The teaching program was not too difficult even though it was mostly autonomous because there are coordinators and resources available to help build lessons. The volunteer to free time ratio was great. My only complaint was that my travel group found the beds too hard, but it was address by the end of the week.

My wife I spent 2 weeks in Ubud. We learned a bit of Buhasa, painted Batik, went to a holy water temple, visited a coffee plantation and a rice terrace, snorkeled, and worked with grade 2-4 students teaching them English. Rewarding and a lot of fun.

If you're tossing up whether to do this program or not, absolutely book it! I was very nervous to solo travel for the first time but since completing the program, I can easily say it was the best decision I've ever made and will 100% be doing it again.
